A holocron for Brendan

I met him again during Celebration III when he volunteered to help make the Jedi Starfighter. All I’d need to do was say to him “I need a rabbit ear here” and he would guide the other volunteers. He was a huge help.

I first met Brendan at Cal State Long Beach when I was teaching origami at the annual origami festival. He was only 7 and already a great artist. He asked if he could make some of the things from my book and I was very impressed when he whipped up a dewback while I wasn’t looking.

When I was asked to teach origami at the California Science Center, I asked him if he would like to be one of my guest teachers. He and his mother both taught models and I couldn’t have done the event without their help.
