Holocron for Mary Franklin

I created this holocron for her as a thank you. It was the first time I’d made one as a gift.

Mary Franklin is the event coordinator for Lucasfilm. I approached her at GenCon the year before Celebration III. I told her I had an idea for making life sized Star Wars origami models. She immediately saw the potential in the project and asked me to send her a proposal. Thanks to her I’ve been able to share my passion for origami with other fans around the world.

You may recognize the final moments of the attack on the Death Staras Luke’s X-Wing is pursued by Darth Vader and two TIE fighters just before the Millennium Falcon swoops in to save the day
