zeb orrelios
Garazeb “Zeb” Orrelios is one of the last remaining Lasat warriors. His home world, Lasan, was destroyed by the Empire leaving Zeb with a deep hatred of all things Imperial.
He served onboard The Ghost fighting Imperial tyranny in the early days of the rebellion. The Ghost’s crew was one many resistance cells which formed the Rebel Alliance. After the fall of the Empire, Zeb served the New Republic hunting down surviving pockets of Imperial rule.
I was on vacation when the Mandalorian and Grogu was released, which meant I missed the opening day of a Star Wars movie for the first time in 46 years. Just after its release a friend who had seen it asked me who ‘the purple guy’ was. Knowing he must have had a larger role in the movie than I thought, I decided to design a new Zeb model. It was very hard finding movie reference images while remaining ‘spoiler free’.
