Asajj ventress' Starfighter
The Ginivex-class Starships had solar sails which could spread like a fan, and collapse in atmospheric flight. Ships with this type of capability were nicknamed Fanblades.
This ship was piloted by the Sith assassin Asajj Ventress. It had four laser cannons, two on the tips of the wings, and two under the cockpit. It was a small, very maneuverable ship with a thin silhouette making it very difficult to hit.
This was one of the first ships I created from the Clone Wars series. I liked the simplicity of the ship, and wondered how I could make an origami model of it. One simple way would be to fold a square into a triangle, and round the corners. I wanted something a little more detailed than that. I think this design has a nice balance between simple and detailed.
