“The Stranger” was a padawan who was cast out of the Jedi Order because of his views on the light and dark sides of the force. His training was completed by Darth Plagueis. He claimed to have no name and went by Qimir or The Master. When asked, he would call himself a Sith. He eventually crossed path with Mae-ho Aniseya and decided to take her on as his apprentice. ‘Mae’ thought her twin sister Verosha had died in a confrontation between Jedi Master Sol and the coven of witches who raised her. 

After learning the truth about the confrontation, Osha killed Master Sol and turned to the Dark Side. Osha agreed to be trained by The Master in exchange for allowing Mae to live. He force wiped her memories to keep the return of the Sith a secret. It would be another 100 years before Darth Sidious would reveal the Sith to the Jedi Order.
