Lola LO-LA59

As a young girl, Princess Leia had a small disk-shaped droid called L0-LA59. ‘Lola’ had two beetle-like wings on her back. Even though she could fly, the wings were only decorative and were mostly used to express emotions. Leia and Lola were inseparable. 

On her upper surface, the tiny droid had red and white markings and two optical sensors. She had two retractable legs in her grey undercarriage, as well as some tiny arms with basic tools. 

As soon as Lola appeared in the first episode of the Kenobi show, I fell in love with her. That little droid is adorable and I want one! So I of course I had to make an origami version of her. I thought it would be a simple matter to start with a preliminary base and just round out the wings. It turns out the final design was easier than that. Now I just have to find a way to origami Artificial Intelligence and a repulsor system into the model.
