Mandalorian kom'rk starfighter

The Kom’rk starfighter is a sleek Mandalorian ship designed for both combat and tactical deployment. It’s most distinct feature are the split wings. The wings rotate between landing and flight configurations. It’s fairly maneuverable for a ship of its size, and armed with forward and rear laser cannons. Yet it’s still capable of carrying up to 24 well equipped troops. So it serves not just as a starfighter, but as a tactical insertion craft.

During the Clone Wars, Death Watch used them to maintain Mandalore’s independence. Decades later Bo-Katan used a Kom’rk in her clan’s efforts against Imperial occupation. More than just a ship, the Kom’rk is a symbol of the Mandalorian philosophy. It’s adaptable, heavily armed, and always ready to strike from orbit or vanish into hyperspace.

In one of my tutorial’s comment sections, YouTuber @TheRogueJedi suggested I make a Kom’rk Starfighter. I had been playing with various versions of the ship for a while, but never found a design I liked. I wanted to make a version where the wings could rotate fully. Unfortunately, this required an unbelievable amount of sinks and tucks. In one attempt, which started with 10 inch paper, I ended up with a model just over 2 inches wide. After the suggestion, I decided to go back to the drawing board. I ditched the rotating wings requirement and came up with this design. I think it works.
