gnk (gonk) droid
GNK droids are basically power generators with legs. They have multiple ports and sockets and a rudimentary level of intelligence. ‘Gonk’ droids get their nickname from the ‘gonk’ sound they make as they move.
Believe it or not, I create a lot of origami models. Probably too many. One way I can tell is that I occasionally dream about creating new models. This is one example. I had a vivid dream in which I was creating this Gonk Droid. When I woke up, I was pretty sure the design would actually work. Sure enough, with one minor change to the feet, it worked out exactly as it did in my dream. So either I’m a genius, or I need help.
