Finn's Jacket
Stormtrooper FN-2187 deserted the ranks of The First Order. But to get away from the star destroyer he was assigned to he needed the help of a pilot. Luckily for him, Poe Dameron had just been captured and was the best pilot in the galaxy. Together they stole a TIE fighter and made a break for it. During the short lived flight Poe gave FN-2187 the new name ‘Finn’
Unfortunately, they were shot down over Jakuu. After ejecting and then making his way to the crash site, Finn looked for his new friend. The only trace of him was his jacket. Finn kept the jacket and was surprised to run into Poe again at the Resistance base. Poe told Finn to keep the jacket, “it suits you”
I needed to make a model of Finn for a project I was working on. Unfortunately, Finn doesn’t have many distinctive features. No cape, long pointy ears, glowing eyes, Hair buns… nothing that would make a distinctive ‘Finn’ origami model. But the jacket does have an extra flap which stands out nicely. In the long run I ended up not using this model, but I thought it worth showcasing here.
