I first met Brendan
at Cal State Long Beach when I was teaching origami at the annual origami festival.
He was only 7 and already a great artist. He asked if he could make some of the
things from my book and I was very impressed when he whipped up a dewback
while I wasn't looking.
met him again during Celebration III when he volunteered to help make the Jedi
. All I'd need to do was say to him "I need a rabbit ear here"
and he would guide the other volunteers. He was a huge help.
